Phenix- Tarot Card: The Sun by jala Phenix- Tarot Card: The Sun by jala
Drawn for the PE Tarot Exchange, of the Sun card. I originally selected this particular card because my character Phenix fits perfectly into the theme, being a sort of sun goddess herself. I'm thrilled with how it came out too, even if it is a bit bright.

The tarot border is © Rilly Star, and not my creation.

You know, I think this one really shows your progression as an artist, yet your definate style. You have progressed a lot from the pictures on displayed here, and I think that this is a 'show piece' of that. I do have a question, do you have problems drawing feet? This is an AWESOME piece, and I like it a lot. Kudos!

What the...? I didn't press 'submit'! *shakes fist at DA*

*continues above comment*

I think the part I like most is her figure. Her hips are so well-drawn, stylized, but very very nicely done.

Bright = NOT a problem *-* It seriously makes it seem like it glows.

I would SO make my own tarot cards, if I weren't such a lazy bum =P

I love the torque of her body, and those chunky colors rock my socks all the way to Canada. :D I love the colors you've chosen, they fit the card so perfectly. :D

Oh! I love the mixture of red, yellow and green tones! It...makes me want lemonade...

Lovely, vibrent pose, her expression and the pose of her hand really brings it together....The border is a nifty touch! ^_^
